As a Church, we believe...
...that God loves each person regardless of whether they are, in human understanding, good or bad. Their skin color, gender, religiosity, or fulfillment of good deeds has no impact on God.
We believe that our earthly life is just a drop in the ocean of eternity that God has for each of us.
Why do we believe this?
The foundation of our faith is the Holy Scriptures i.e., the closed canon of the books of the Old and New Testament as the indivisible and incontrovertible Word of God.
The Bible says that God created man in His image (Genesis 1:27). Since God is Spirit (John 4:24), we believe that man, unlike animals, was created as a spiritual being, endowed with a soul—that is, intellect, emotions, and free will—dwelling in a body.
We believe that as a consequence of the so-called 'original sin' (the severing of the relationship with God through disobedience), our foreparents Adam and Eve lost the divine kind of life, meaning their spirit became dead. This became the inheritance of every human being born into this world.
Through the entire Old Testament, God foretells the redemption of mankind and speaks of the manner in which it will be accomplished (e.g., Isaiah 53).
